Privacy policy
Last updated: 9 August 2026
How Jenus handles personal data on this website. In short: we receive what you send us through the contact form, and we measure how the site is used only if you accept analytics cookies.
Who we are
Jenus Technologies Limited (trading as "Jenus") is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We are a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus.
- Registration number: HE324616
- VAT number: CY10324616E
- Registered office: 30 Archiepiskopou Makariou III Ave, Pera Chorio, Nisou 2572, Lefkosia, Cyprus

What we collect
We collect personal data in only one place on this website: the contact form. The fields are your name, your work email address, your company (optional) and your message.
When you send the form we also record that you confirmed you had read this policy, together with the version of it you confirmed, so that both of us have a clear record of what was agreed.
If — and only if — you accept analytics cookies in the banner, Google Analytics collects data about how you use the site: the pages you view, roughly where you are in the world, your device and browser type, and how you arrived. It assigns your browser a random identifier so repeat visits can be counted. Reject, and none of this is collected and nothing is sent to Google.
We run no advertising or session-recording tools, we do not build profiles about you, we do not track you across other websites, and we never sell personal data.
Our hosting provider records technical request data — including your IP address, browser user agent and the page requested — in order to serve the site and protect it from attack. We do not use that data to identify individual visitors.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
We use the details you send through the contact form solely to read your enquiry and reply to it.
- Where your enquiry concerns buying or evaluating our products or services, our legal basis is the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request prior to entering into one (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- For all other business enquiries, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- For analytics, our legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given through the cookie banner. You may withdraw it at any time, and we do not process analytics data on any other basis.
- For keeping the website available and secure, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting our infrastructure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form enquiries for 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them. If your enquiry becomes a customer relationship, the data moves into that relationship and is governed by the contract between us.
Our form provider deletes its own copy of each submission according to its retention schedule, which is shorter than ours.
Analytics data is retained by Google for 14 months and then deleted. The cookies that make it possible expire two years after they are set, or immediately if you withdraw your consent.
Who else processes your data
We use the following service providers, each acting as a processor on our instructions. We do not share your data with anyone else, and we do not disclose it for marketing.
- Web3Forms (operated by Web3Creative, India) delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox. Its own sub-processors include Amazon Web Services, Hetzner (European Union) and Cloudflare, plus the spam-filtering services CleanTalk and Akismet, which receive the sender's IP address and email address in order to assess whether a submission is abusive.
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts and delivers this website and provides its security layer, processing technical request data in the process.
- Google Ireland Limited provides Google Analytics, but only for visitors who have accepted analytics cookies. If you reject, the Google Analytics script is never loaded and Google receives nothing.
Transfers outside the EEA
Because our form provider operates from India and some of its sub-processors operate from the United States, your contact-form data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. If you accept analytics, data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the United States.
Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, which are incorporated into the data processing agreements we hold with those providers. Google LLC is additionally certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. You may ask us for more detail about these safeguards using the contact details above.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to ask us for a copy of your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to have our processing restricted, and to object to processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests. Where processing is carried out by automated means on the basis of a contract or your consent, you also have the right to receive your data in a portable format.
Where we rely on your consent, as we do for analytics, you may withdraw it at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page. Withdrawing is as easy as consenting and costs you nothing.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@jenus.com.cy. We will respond within one month. You will never be charged for making a request, and we will not treat you differently for having made one.
If you believe we have handled your personal data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Cyprus (dataprotection.gov.cy), or with the supervisory authority in your own country of residence.
Automated decision-making
We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects for you, or that similarly significantly affects you, through this website.
Security
This website is served only over HTTPS, so traffic between your browser and the site is encrypted in transit, as is the submission of the contact form. Our providers encrypt submission data at rest.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. Please do not send confidential or sensitive information — including special category data, credentials or customer records — through the contact form.
Children
This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this website handles personal data, we will update this page and revise the date shown above. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
